Because orchids are more hardy and able to withstand shipping versus other flowers, orchid leis are recommended to be shipped to the continental United States. To ensure freshness, FedEx Priority shipping is required. Shipments to Arizona, California, Colorado (Denver area), Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington will arrive overnight. All other area will take two (2) business days.

FedEx does not deliver on Sundays, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. FedEx does offer Saturday deliveries in certain areas, but there is an additional fee of $15.00. However, we strongly advise against Saturday deliveries. It is recommended to deliver between Monday and Friday and store items in the refrigerator over the weekend — we highly recommend this also for leis to be used on Mondays since FedEx does not accommodate refrigeration. Shipping and Handling, as well as a $10.00 packing fee are incurred. Please call us on bulk orders over 100 for rates.

In conjunction with the Hawaii State Agriculture Department, the US Agriculture Department on the mainland periodically perform random checks on any agricultural products coming from Hawaii. This is done to prevent certain insects and plants from entering the US Mainland. Should your package be held at a FedEx location for inspection, this may delay your delivery by a day. Please know that Aloha Reservations and FedEx have no control over this procedure and will not be responsible for any compensation of delayed shipment.

• For loss, damage, or delay caused by events that we cannot control including weather conditions, agriculture inspections, airport closures, war, strikes, civil commotions, or acts from public authorities.
